Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy
1. Purpose and Types of Technologies
This Policy explains how Celaeno uses cookies, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, pixels and similar technologies on its website or application, where applicable.
Depending on the product design, the Company may use strictly necessary technologies for account authentication, session management, security, fraud prevention and essential functionality; preference technologies to remember language and settings; analytics technologies to understand usage and diagnose errors; and advertising or attribution technologies to measure authorised campaigns where implemented and legally permitted.
2. Consent and User Control
Where consent is legally required, non-essential tracking will not be activated before the required consent is obtained. Users will be provided with an appropriate mechanism to accept, reject or manage non-essential technologies. Essential technologies may continue where necessary for the requested service or otherwise legally permitted.
Users may also control certain technologies through browser or device settings, although disabling essential technologies may affect Platform functionality. Consent choices will be recorded where reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance.
Celaeno will not describe a technology as anonymous, essential or privacy preserving unless that description accurately reflects how it operates.
3. Third-Party Technologies and Mobile Applications
Some technologies may be supplied by analytics, hosting, security or advertising providers. Their processing will be governed by applicable contractual arrangements and privacy disclosures. Celaeno will assess third-party technologies for their intended purpose and the information they collect, subject to applicable law, and will not provide unrestricted access to personal information merely because a provider supplies a technical service.
Mobile applications may use SDKs or device identifiers instead of conventional browser cookies. The same principles of transparency, purpose limitation and consent, where required, apply. Users may manage relevant device permissions through their device settings.
4. Changes
This Policy may be updated when the technologies used by Celaeno change. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
